Christmas gifts: Think fair traded products

Think Christmas gifts = think fairly traded products.”

We are expanding in customers and therefore in products—thanks to all of you who have been supporting the Morning United Methodist Women’s global mission (not a fund raiser) of helping small farmers and crafters all over the world. Where else can you get a better quality of delicious coffees, teas, chocolates, dried fruits, almonds, etc,? Also we sell non-food products that help co-ops, usually women who are the bread winners of their families. All sales of Equal Exchange (and linked to UMCOR) provides these groups with fair wages, helps them to grow organic crops with more yield, and supports co-ops creating handmade items. All this makes for better lives of families and eventually for whole villages!

Here are some of the organic products for December 1:

• Very Dark Chocolate Bars (71% cacao)

• Chocolate Espresso Bean Bars (55% cacao)

• Milk Chocolate Caramel Crunch Bars with Sea Salt (41% cacao).

• Boxes of 20 Mini chocolates, both dark and milk chocolate, wrapped in Christmas foil – great for Christmas stockings.

Please check out our coffees, teas, almonds, and other goodies. Also let us know what you’d like us to order for the January 5Fair Trade Sunday.
