Cedar Cross supports VOA Food Bank

During the past year 2015, the people of Cedar Cross have supported the Volunteers of America here in Everett with their contributions of $6,011.36 and 1,193 pounds of food. The monetary donations, placed in the special box during communion, are matched 6 to 1, so that our contributions became the equivalent of $36,068.16 in VOA purchasing power.

Flora and Bob Reiflng have helped manage this Cedar Cross Missions program for more than 20 years. Our thanks to them and to other members of the Mission Team. Remember to place your VOA food donations in the top basket of the cart in the Narthex near the entrance.

VOA programs and services focus on meeting basic needs and promoting self-sufficiency by giving the families, children, seniors, and disabled adults the tools and resources they need to be healthy and successful.
