Human Relations Sunday January 17

Human Relations Day, Sunday, January 17 is one of the six United Methodist church-wide Sundays with special offerings. The amount you give for Human Relations Day helps strengthen the outreach of the United Methodist Church by encouraging social justice and work with at-risk youth.

Your contribution goes to the Community Developers Program, the United Methodist Voluntary Services Program and the Youth Offender Rehabilitation Program.

Services provided by these programs include a ministry for school-age children and youth to help them grow developmentally and spiritually; day care, after-school activities, gang intervention, jobs training, substance-abuse treatment, affordable/supportive housing and more.

Place your special contribution for Human Relations Sunday in the envelope included with the bulletin. Write Human Relations on the memo line of your check.

Or you may use the Cedar Cross convenient online giving option. On the Cedar Cross web home page (www.cedarcross.net), click the “Online Giving” link. Follow the directions and select “Methodist Specials.”

If you have not previously used online giving, you’ll need to create an online profile.
