Children’s Ministries

Cedar Cross’ Children’s Program is well rounded and filled with fun activities and programs where children receive a firm foundation of faith as they grow and learn in God’s love. Sunday School is offered from age 3 – high school at the 10:30 service. There are Bible stories, music, fun crafts and games. The Rock Solid curriculum provides a hands on approach to learning and helps to bring the stories to life and allows the children to make connections to their own life. It is our tradition that all 3rd graders receive their own Bible signed by Pastor Randy.

Vacation Bible School is a fun filled week that is offered in the summer. VBS is an exciting week that is filled with crafts, recreation, music, experiments and most importantly bringing God’s love and teachings alive to the children who attend.

Our Children’s Christmas Musical always gets us into the spirit of the Christmas season. Preschoolers through high school students come together to put on an amazing show. And every year they out do themselves and put on the best Christmas program ever! Look for practice to begin sometime in October and will be held Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30(except preschool participants who will practice during Sunday School). The musical itself will be performed at the 10:30 service and again at 6pm on December 12th.

Club 4/5 is an opportunity for 4th and 5th graders to come together outside the classroom for fun and fellowship. Some of their favorite activities include crab soccer, making forts and ice cream socials. Club 4/5 meets the third Friday of every month (September – June). Parents are welcome to stay and play and enjoy the fun. Club 4/5 will be held once a month on the 3rd Friday of the month. The first event is planned for September 17th. Contact Carolyn Calderon with any questions.

There are also always activities and events scheduled to involve all ages in fellowship. Some of our more popular activities have been Family Game Night, Movie Night, Everett Aqua Sox Ball games, and Campfires and Picnics.
